I have tried many a burgers in NYC and this is the best hands down tastiest no frills burger in the Big Apple. Not a restaurant really, although there is a small room with tables, but a bar with a great burger. Unlike most best's in NYC, they are cheap. Do expect a line most nights. Enjoy! Loved it as a child but last time I went I was disappointed to find that the portions have gotten a lot smaller and the pastrami sandwich just was not as juicy. Even the steak fries seemed old and stale. I would definitly go back for old times sake, but I wouldn't consider them the best anymore.
